Start of Riverside Race

This was about as far as I got in the race in Riverside  last weekend, April 1.  I started the race, rode for about 10 minutes, was leading the pack and feeling great when the air started leaving my tire.  I stopped to fix it, but my nozzle for the C02 canister was defective, so I couldn’t do a thing.  I walked back to the vehicle and left the race venue. Was not happy!  I felt amazing, too, and I knew the course really well.  Stay tuned, I’ll be coming out with an article about the race and much more on Florida Cycling Magazine…www.floridaracingmagazine.com

In the meantime, we took the Pacific Coast Highway to Santa Barbara, where I’m doing some training for Sea Otter.  Beautiful here.  May do some riding next week in Santa Cruz, then possibly the San Francisco area.  Gotta love California.
